Classic and Later-born အရင္ေမြးနဲ႔ ေနာက္ေပါက္

(ဘိလပ္) နဲ႔ (အန္ကယ္ဆမ္) တို႔က ေရႊဗမာေတြကို မ်က္စိရႈတ္ေအာင္ အေတာ္လုပ္ၾကတယ္။ လန္ဒန္မွာ အခုေရာက္ေနတဲ့ ေဆာင္းဦးရာသီကို (ေအာ္တမ္) တဲ့။ ဒီမွာက (ေဖါလ္) တဲ့။ (ဂရမ္မာ) သဒၵါသင္ရင္ ပိုဆိုးတယ္။ (-ing) ပါတဲ့ Continuous tense ေခၚတာကို Progressive tense တဲ့။ ကြ်န္ေတာ္ စာကူသင္ေနတဲ့ အထက္တန္းေက်ာင္းမွာ မႏွစ္ကတႏွစ္လံုး (အက္တစ္-ပက္ဆစ္) ဆိုတာ မသင္ဘူး။ ဒီႏွစ္လဲ အခုထိမသင္ေသးဘူး။ ျမန္မာျပည္က ေက်ာင္းသားေတြမွာ နားလည္ဘို႔ အေတာ္လုပ္ေနၾကရတယ္။

ဆရာဝန္ေတြမ်က္စိမွာ အေမရိကန္ေတြ ဂြက်တာ ခဏခဏေတြ႔ရတယ္။ တသက္လံုးသံုးလာတဲ့ သားဖြါးမီးယပ္ေဆးပညာ Obstetrics and Gynecology (OG) ကို သူတို႔က OB/GYN တဲ့။ ရွည္ပ။ စာေၾကာင္းအဆံုးက အစက္ကေလး Full stop ကို Period တဲ့။ လူနာေတြဆိုရင္ ရာသီ (ဓမၼတာ) နဲ႔ မမွားႏိုင္ဘူးလား။ အတိုေကာက္ေရးတဲ့ Short form ကို အေမရိကန္ေတြက Contraction တဲ့။ ဆရာဝန္ေတြကေတာ့ ကေလးေမြးခ်င္လို႔ ဗိုက္နာတာကို အဲလိုေခၚတယ္။ Smile!
